Code e59 is a vcc temp sensor circuit problem detected. does the cruise work? I would have to research this curcuit if you require further assistance. It has been a while since dealing with those cars.

What freon adapter needed for a 1988 cadillac eldorado

You can not get a freon adapter for any car any more since freon is outlawed and no longer available for car air conditioning systems. You will need to upgrade your system to the new refrigerant systems that are now environmentally friendly and when they do that they will replace the filler straighter valves with current ones. When i had my Eldorado converted it cost about 300 dollars by a certified shop.

This is your Central Power Supply located above your Gas Pedal. Its a 4in. by 6in. Silver Box.They arent made any more so tou have to find one at a Junkyayard $125 to $175 or a new one at some dealer in the U.S. A new one will go for $300 but its plug and play so get the new one.
