Power window cablesdriver side in dodge grand caravan
I was trying to replace the power window motor and the cable came disconnected from the window guide rail. I need to know how to reconnect the cable to the guiderail clip.

THE WINDOW MOTOR AND REGULATOR ARE NOT SERVICED SEPERATE. YOU SHOULD ONLY REPLACE AS A REGULATOR ASSEMBLY. IF IT CAME APART GOOD LUCK GETTING IT BACK TOGETHER. I'M SURE IT COULD BE DONE BUT NOT SURE IT WILL LAST LONG.

I tried the switch and the motor still wont work ????? You replaced the switch an motor ? The window is controlled by the driver door module . Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop. You have no clue what your dealing with .
Is there power at the cable at the starter? Check for grounds by putting clamp from your test light to the negative side of battery & probe the cable at the starter, starter & solenoid, sounds like the solenoid isnt engaging, but if the starter motor isnt cranking either bring the starter to the auto parts store & have it bench tested.
sounds like the window regulator. this is the cable mechanism that the motor runs to pull the window up and down. sometimes after time the cables fray and break or get tangled. need to remove inner door panel to replace, and is usually sold as a set, regulator and motor together.
The Blower Motor Resistor is located behind the glove box on the dash. Remove the whole glove box to access. The Resistor is mounted against/sort of into the fire wall. 1. Disconnect the negative side of battery. 2. Disconnected the Electrical Connection to the Resistor. 3. Remove the bolts/screws. I believe they have 8mm heads, there should be 2 of them. 4. Replace with new one/Replug electrical connection. 5. Reconnect the negative side last. 6. Test System before putting the glove box back in!
The Blower Motor is easy (compared to $1000) to remove and replace.
normally when the motor goes, I would always recommend replacing the the entire Power window regulator, the reason being that the plastic rollers break, thus allowing slipping of the cable, thus resulting in you being frustrated not being able to raise/ lower your window. all that being said a new regulator online is about 130.00 (325.00 from dealer + labor). Autopartswarehouse.com (this is where i bought mine) replaced it and have been happy!. you must already know how to get the panel off and get to the motor, with all that there are several steps left, and you will be happy again, remove the three bolts around the regulator, the 4 bolts securing the window tracks and the two clips or bolts securing the window to the window bracket, re assemble and you will be much happier, Good Luck !!!
