Question about 1998 Ford F150 Regular Cab
The symtoms just started. I was replacing my rear brake line when I noticed that my dome light would not come on. After I was done with my brakes, I tryed to trouble shoot the light. I found out that my power windows/4x4 switch/dome light/ window wipers/ hood light do not work. Also, when I start the truck and I have the door open, the "door ajar" light does not stay on nor does the chime say on. I have been having a problem with my ingnition switch keeping the chime on, it doesn't do that now... I have checked all the fuses and relay's in the cab and under the hood. Do you have any suggestions?
2 possible problems one might be the ignition switch is not powering up those components, the other might be the gem module its like a body control module and it runs those components
