Question about 2001 Ford F250 Super Duty Super Cab
I have a 2000 F250 with a 7.3 with 380000 km. It will start losing power and start running like it is running out of fuel even when I have just fueled up. If you try to step on the gas pedal it just flattens out (NO RESPONSE) It will happen most often when going up a grade doesn't really seem to matter how steep. Have replaced the cam position censer, turbo, fuel pump, fuel bowl heater, and batteries over the last few months but this problem seems to persist. It seems like after the truck has been running for awhile or is under a load ( not always but quite often )the air to fuel mixture in wrong.
Have you had it on a scan toll? did throw a code? it sounds like your sucking air into the system through a rubber boot from the aftercooler. as far as throttle response have you had the injectors checked?
