Sounds like it is starving for fuel. check fuel pump relay to make certain pump is running. if it is, change fuel filter this may help. the best way to check to see if pump is running is to have someone turn car to on, not start. and feel the vibration at fuel tank with your hand. a pump only runs for a few seconds. until it gets pressure to engine. then when engine is running its on until you shut car back off. you may have to turn key on a few times to feel a vibration. good-day!!

Engine will turn over, but car will not stay cranked.

You'll have to figure out if it is a fuel or ignition problem.
Is the check engine light on ? Have you checked for trouble codes ?
It uses an idle control valve to adjust the idle speed. The valve could be dirty or failing, or the throttle body could be dirty.

I have a 2004 F150 with the 5.4 triton. The other day while driving on the highway with no warning it lost power and quit running. We have gone through the fuel system and have good fuel, other than...

Check if all your ignition coils are firing!! Typical issues are: Sputter/****/misfire under load (foot on gas pedal), stalls, no spark. On these 5.4L, moist and other fluids tend to short the coil out. This is caused by poor design of the coil boots.

My car died it stalled as I was moving up hill and when I came to a complete stop It just died. Do you think it could be the fuel pump? It cranks up and everything and yes there is gas in it. I noticed...

Sounds like you came apart under the hood. Check the linkage and on the drivers side there is a switch called a TPS. The throttle position sensor should have a spring in it. There should be some return action on the linkage too.

There is a cable that works everything from the foot pedal to the engine. If the cable is still attached it must have broken inside.

Crank no start ,got fuel got spark, when trying to start spark plugs get wet ,changed plug pinched fuel line shut try srarting flud wont start???

You pinched the fuel line????
If you crank for too long to start the car, the engine will "flood", this is why the plug was wet. It had too much gas and wouldn't start.
Pull out ALL plugs and dry them off.
Install them.
HOLD your gas pedal to the floor and crank.
This will stop gas from entering the engine.
you need to get that extra gas out beofre it will start.
If you have so much gas in there you can do damage to your engine!!
Now after a few crnaking attempts with your foot to the floor, take your foot of the gas pedal and try to start it again.
But remember if it doesn't start in 3 tries, you need to do the pedal to the floor once or twice to remove the excess gas.
When you crank the car to start it sprays gas into the engine, even if it won't start. So it very easy to "flood" the engine, and then you'll have a hard time to get it going!

Engine Floods after brief start and run when cold -then shut off

Local mechanic determined engine was flooded and started it by holding throttle to the floor and cranking 5-7 seconds - then the engine sputtered to life. It has run perfectly before and since and I'm at a bit of loss to understand why this occurred this one time - so far. It's been driven now 5 days with no problems.
