Loosen the lug nuts and drive it in a circle slowly until the wheel loosens (one at a time). only loosen the nuts about 2 turns-no more. i had to do this at the dealer for years. put that axle nut back on before driving the truck.
good luck

Ive replaced the cv shaft but the noise is still their...any ideas?

Have you checked the front wheel bearings? I've seen similar problems on several front wheel drive cars. On my first experience, we also started by changing the CV joints only to find it did not solve the problem. We then though it was a transmission problem.... wrong again. Finally checked the front wheel bearings (Both sides) and found the passenger side was making the noise. Bearing replaced (not cheap by the way) but solved the problem.

But how do eed to remove window wash reservoir bottle from a 2001 ford focus but how does filler neck come through hole under bonnet to allow me to remove reservoir from under front wheel arch.

The majority of those I've seen in small cars are removed by taking off the wheel, then the inner splash guard and removed downward through the wheel well.

Please vote if this helps! Thanks, Mike

Remove front Brake Rotor

Try opening up the caliper with a flat screwdriver thru the opening in the middle of the housing.pry on the rotor and pull towards you to push the rotor back. That should loosen it up enough for you to get it of the rotor. If that dont work you probably got a stuck caliper and have to release the brake line and do the procedure again. GOOD LUCK

Can't get tire/wheel off '89 Silverado

Aha! Here is what you do. Leave one lug nut loose on the wheel and remove the rest. With the vehicle on a jackstand and secure, sit down facing the wheel and kick the bottom of the wheel really hard, repeat if necessary. This always does the trick! Must be a rear wheel? The rim gets stuck to the brake drum from rust all of the time!
Don't forget to rate this solution, and good luck!

Remove the front disc rotor

The rotor and hub assembly are held together by the studs, you must first remove the 4-wheel drive hub assembly, then the wheel bearing nuts, and pull the hub and rotor off as a unit. Next lay it(back down) on a piece of wood, using a drift punch drive the studs out. Turn it over ,lay it(face down) on a block of wood, line the new stud splines up with the grooves in the hub and drive them in with the punch and reassemble. A set of dentist style picks will be helpful with the clip in the 4wd hub and a 4 lug 4wd nut wrench will be needed.

I have a 1979 Chevrolet pickup 6 cyl 4 wheel drive Silverado, K ½ ton, that has the 5 lugs sheared off of the right front wheel. I am trying to replace them. How do I remove the front disc rotor to get at...

Remove caliper and nut to axle should come of with a little help of a rubber hammer. Knock bolts out from the front and drive new ones in from the back. You can use a lugnut with the flat side down to help pull them in and a hammer to help. Hope this helps.

Stuck Right Front Wheel Bearing Assembly

With a "puller" or if that doesn't work the old hammer and chisel all around the parting line till it frees up.
