Make sure to bleed any air out of the fuel rail using the schrader valve on the fuel line. This should solve the problem if not the injectors may be clogged or faulty and should be replaced. It may also be the fuel pressure regulator. Hope this helps.

MY 1996 GMC SONOMA 4.3 L V6 STARTS BUT WHEN I GIVE IT GAS IT DIES

You need to ck fuel pressure .CK to see if the injectors are visialbe from the out side of the intake manifold... I think that year has the injectors inside the intake manifold if so the fuel pressure has to be above 55 psi if you can see the injectors then it only has to be 35 psi.If your fuel pressure is correct then you may have an exhaust flow problem ... plugged converter or muffler . Also make sure that air filter and induction tube from the filter to the throttle body is not restricted/plugged

The TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) is located out on the engine, on the side of the throttle body. Here is what it looks like.

One of the 2 injectors on top is spraying way too much gas

Does it drip gas after you shut the engine off? It likely isn't the injector but the oring that seals it into the throttle body.

2001 gmc sonoma,not getting gas

Have you checked for fuel in the fuel rail? If so have you checked the injectors. If the problem is located in the injectors then there are two possible problems:
1...All of your injectors are clogged. Highly unlikely but possible.
2...Your computer is not sending a injector cycle command to the injector. This could be caused by a faulty cam position sensor or a faulty computer.

a tps sensor is a throttle position sensor and is located on the throttle body. it has a weather proof connector and can be purchased at a auto parts store like Napa, Oreills, etc for minimal cost. it should have 2 wires and has 2 screws/bolts that hold it in place it is black in color.
