Your alternator don't delivery enough current, when you turn on the air and then the voltage down for this reason the engine stop repair the alternator, obviously verify first the current that the alternator delivery.

You could have a short in your elecrical system. have you checked the fuses and relays in the junction box under the hood you will have a a/c clutch/ ignition/ radiator fan/ and relay that are next to each other. i would start out checking these first. chances are you might have a lil burn mark if they are shorted. please rate this solution. thanks

2001 sentra motor idles but dies as soon as you give it gas

I would check the Mass airflow sensor, if not working properly it will not have the car adjust to the air coming in causing too much air for fuel causing the engine to die.

Starts and dies unless I rev it up then it will Idle

The battery might be low but I doubt it is causing the "no idle" problem.
You should have an idle air control valve that the computer uses to adjust idle speed. That valve could be faulty or dirty.

What would cause my 2005 colorado to idle really low and if i stop at a stop light or make a sharp turn it dies what could be the cause

Hello, if your check engine light is not on & the Colorado does not have a P0506 error code....
Check every connection on the air intake between the MAF sensor and the throttle body for vacuum leaks...Remove and clean the IAC (idle air control) & the MAF (mass air flow sensor)
Do not use brake cleaner on the MAF sensor, you can purchase MAF sensor cleaner at your local parts store....I hope this helps.

2004 GMC Envoy. My ac is causing my engine to fluctuate in RPM's and will cause engine to die somtimes. If I turn ac off it will idle just fine. Need help.

The throttle body needs to be cleaned, grime in this area prevents the throttle plate from closing completely and allowing air to enter, making the air/fuel mixture lean.

My 07 Toyota Corolla will start fine. It idles without problem, but as soon as I put it in drive it dies. 40% of the time it will do the same thing in reverse also. But 100% of the time once I put it in...

The engine uses an air flow meter and any vacumn leakages would cause the engine to shut off. I would suggest checking the air hose for leakages, hidden cracks that would only appear when the engine is shifted into reverse.

When in forward gears, the engine would tilt to one side, there are no leakages but when shifted into reverse, the engine tilts the opposite way, ( old engine mounts tends to allow the tilting to be quite substantial) causing the air hoses etc to open up any cracks and allowing excessive air to leak between the air flow meter and throttle body causing the stalling.

Hope this helps.

Car shutting off when air condition is turn on causing it to stall

There is a switch that works the computer upon turning on the air conditioning. Upon turning the AC on the switch sends a signal to the computer to increase the RPM's to the engine so it will not die out
