If the model is comparable to the one sold in Europe the Ecu should be located under the central cockpit, beside the ash tray.

Drl location module

Hi, I have no idea what a Drl is? If you're looking for the ECU it is usually located behind the center consul. Regards John

Where can i check for the engine number of Toyota corolla 1998

Hi

You may need to remove the alternator, its just behind it. Engraved to the engine body. However generally this is stamped onto a plate and fixed to the engine block itself. You can also check the hood and around the fenders to find an engine name or number.

Please get back to me if you have further query.

Thanks

I have a corolla AE110. what is the best rev count number when the gear is in park, netural, in drive but with brake padle stepped on.

Hi there,

Idle speed (in PARK/NEUTRAL) should be set to approx. 700rpm (no further adjustment required).

The vehicle's ECU is programmed to adjust the rpm's after this - e.g. when you step on brake pedal, insert into gears or activate airconditioning, the vehicle's sensors send the data to the ECU, which then alters the rpm accordingly.

Cheers,

It could be your mass air flow censer sometimes when the censer goes bad it sends incorrect readings to your ecu causing inaccurate fuel distribution.

Cannot locate the computer module (ECU) in the 1998 Sonata

lower right passenger side behind the kick panel just lower than the glove box location.
