Steering Wheel Adjustment .The lever is located under the steering column, slightly to the left. To adjust the steering wheel: 1. Pull the lever down. 2. Move the steering wheel up or down into a comfortable position. 3. Pull the lever up to lock the wheel in place. Do not adjust the tilt lever while driving.

Pull more to left and try to move key.

Please check for a dragging LF caliper. Then be sure the front tires are at the same PSI. Then be sure the problem is not caused by the tires.*
Miss matched BRANDS,sizes or unusual wear patterns on one or both tires will cause a pull.
Tires look good? Rotate them,one side at a time until pull goes away.
Also, to see if it IS a tire problem,swap left to right and see if it pulls to the right.Easier to do that,first.

One more test: With you hands off of the steering wheel,start the car. If the steering wheel jerks to one side,you may have a bad /plugged spool valve inside the rack and pinion.

* I have seen that happen with NEW tires.

check for play in gear box and the dampner in steering shaft

CHECK FOR A BROKEN BELT IN THE TIRE

swap the tire from left to right if the opposite happens then you have a tire pull this is known as a radial pull and the fix is either you rotate front to rear or a new set of tires

Lift the front of the car and remove the front wheels. Check all rubber bushings and linkages. Compare each side with each other. Check the steering control arms and the ball joints for any play. Check the rack is securely mounted. Swing the steering from full lock to left, inspect everything and then full lock to the right with full inspection. Check your power steering for any leaks etc.

Yes that is the problem.

now is is pulling while you are driving also... like if you remove your hands from the wheel is it pulling left? If so you need a front end alinment... now if it only jerks when you are turning left it could be your steering stablizer bar or your left CV joint because if it seriously damaged it will cause you to steer hard and it could also break in half and you will loose your wheel...

sound like it has a control valve seal problem internally in the steering box, assured that the linkage is good, this can be dangerous due to loss,or forced steering at any time...focus on replacing the box......GL....be safe
