Question about Mazda MAZDA6
Most manual transmissions use rods with milled depressions in them and a ball under the tension of a spring to 'lock in' each gear.
It sounds as if either the spring has lost tension or the milled area is worn.
In either case, it sounds like the tranny will have to come out.
