I thought a hose had broke but when I crawled under the car it is leaking from a black box on the passenger side where it is bolted together. I have no idea what the box is called. maybe you would know.

ac drain . There could be a blockage in the AC drain pipe that runs under the car. This can usually be unblocked with compressed air they jack up vehicle takes 30 seconds to fix with vehicle hoist.
When it blocks up the AC unit builds up with water and leaks clear water inside the car. if it was green water it would be the heater core leaking coolant.
Smell the fluid. If it smells like gasoline you have a gas leak. If it smells like antifreeze you could have a hose or a anti freeze cooler line leaking. Or could be a water pump leaking and running along the frame under the car. Get a flash light and crawl under neath the vehicle and see where the fluid is coming from.
There is a black hose with a metal like hose attach on each end, right above you manual gear box. It can be seen a little from above but better from under neath the car engine on the right hand side. check to see if the hose look wet from oil like substance, if thats the case you found the problem. If not check your "Master cylinder or Slave cylinder mite be back. I have the same problem, when the fluid leaks the clutch is unable to build the pressure needed to out the car into a gear. Hope this helps. (>:
usually the problem is a small vacuum leak for the hvac system. start by checking the small plastic hoses near the a/c drier (the black cylindrical thing) at rear of engine compartment on the passenger side. typically it is a black plastic hose about 1/8 inch thick. you car repair by using a short piece of vacuum hose as a splice to put the two pieces together, make sure the hose fits snuggly on the plastic hose. hope this helps
LOOK UNDER NEATH VECHICLE ON LOWER BACK FIREWALL WHERE HEATER CORE HOSES RUN ON THE PASSENGER SIDE LOOK FOR SMALL EVAPORATOR DRAIN HOLE. TAKE A SHOP VAC AND SMALL VACUUM LINE HOSE ABOUT 3/8 SIZE VACUUM IN THE DRAIN HOLE THAT WILL REMOVE DEBRIS THAT BLOCKING OFF DRAIN HOLE WHICH KEEP EVAPORATOR WATER LEAKING INSIDE CAR.
You may have a seized engine. Disconnect the battery, crawl
under the car with the right sized crankshaft bolt socket and
ratchet, and see if you can manually turn the engine over. If
it won't turn, I'm sorry to tell you, that your engine is "Toast"
The hoses have seal in them that can wear out. The system is supposed to be repaired by a specially licensed mechanic. The freon inside eats up the ozone. But you may be able to get the special tool at the part store that is made to remove the condioner. Otherwise, you will have to pry the plate and pull at the same time.
