Chances are the fuel pump relay is bad. the fuses are located in a box under the hood on drivers side. the relay is located there as well there will be some fuses under the dash as well. please rate this solution.

The Fuel Filter is an in-line filter, located under the right side of the vehicle at the sliding door. Iut looks like a metal soda/beer can.
Tools you will need:
1/2 wrench to disconnect the Battery
Pliers to remove the clips off the Fuel Lines from the Fuel Filter.
Remember to Remove the Gas Cap to release pressure off the Gas Line.

If it works well at speed and acts up when slowing or stopped it doesn't sound like fuel filter or pump. You can try running injector cleaner through the engine to clean the carborator injectors or fuel injectors if you have those. Look at replacing the plugs and wires on the motor.
