I have a 1995 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4.0. I use it on the mail route. It seems when it get hot it builds pressure and leaks fluid somewhere. You can not see where it is leaking but it looks like it is on fire when it leaks. I know it is fluid because we have to add to it. We added a trans cooler seemed to help but did not fix the problem. Any history on this?

Yes, mine did the same thing.
The auto trans is building up to much pressure, it will need a full service to stop this happening, also get the cooling oil lines checked to make sure they don't have any kinks and squashed areas in them.

Oh yeh, and reason it looks like it is on fire, is because the trans
fluid is coming out of the auto trans breather then running down the
rear side of the motor and onto the very hot exhaust under the rear of
    the engine

How to replace fuel filter on 1995 jeep cherokee sport?

Hi,

it IS on the inside of the drivers side rear frame. In between the back wheels and the gas tank. You have to the pressurize your fuel system first unless you want gas every where. Take your fuel pump relay start the jeep until the fuel in the lines get used up. then put your relay back after you disconnect the battery, than take the filter off, put the new one on, and then hook your battery up and start the jeep. it will run odd for a minuet but after it builds the fuel pressure up it will be smooth again.

Good luck.

Oh and don't smoke while your doing this!! :

2001 jeep grand cherokee leaking transmission fluid. It's not gushing out, just barely dripping when stopped and the tranny fluid level seems fine when checked (hot). It seems to be coming from the rear...

clean off entire area near where you suspect the leak is coming from, then look carefully to locate it. Try slightly tightening any bolts near the leak area after it's located If at the pan gasket do not overtighten or you will crush the gasket and it will leak more. Yes, it can be driven as long as you keep it full.
