How do you fix code 0506 on mitsubishi - Endeavor Mitsubishi Cars & Trucks

• P0401 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Flow Insufficient Detected - reduced flow might be caused by a sticking EGR valve or restricted/blocked EGR passages/ports.

Fix the code by finding and fixing the problem and then have the code cleared with suitable diagnostic equipment.

Diagnostic equipment with 2-way software would allow the EGR valve to be operated from the keyboard/screen and could make fault finding easier.

The ECM in modern cars does a tune up every 60 seconds and any item that puts the sensors out side of the parameters reports as a fault code
you should be more interested in changing oils , brake fluids , coolant , hoses and drive belts

i have a 2000 eclipse and got a trouble shooting code p0340 for a camshaft position sensor. but my car dont have one?

You need a code reader to do this, most Auto parts stores will check the error code for you, but most will not reset it until you buy the necessary part to fix the problem. You can also purchase a code reader and reset it yourself. Autozone has an inexpensive one for about $60. If the error code keeps coming back you should probably think about fixing the underlying cause.

Try replacing the gas cap.

Start with the throttle sensor on the gas pedal, check with voltmeter one wire should have 5.0 volts one of the other should get more voltage as you press the gas pedal.

check the manual for a code in it should be 4 to 6 digits if its not in there you will have to ring the manufacteror for the reset code hope that helped thats what my mum did and they told her
