What engine do you have? If it is the 3.8L then you can adjust the timing, first pull the spout connector which is near the engine test connector under the hood, it is a 2 lead socket with a jumper bar in it, remove the bar, the marks are on the crank pulley and timing cover, they are not easy to see, I used to put the car in air to see them, from up top it is really hard. If you have a 3.0L engine the timiming is not adjustable. When down don't forget to reinstall the jumper or the engine will have no power.

Ford forcus 2.4 turbo timing

Need more Info........Are you referring to the clock setting for the turbo direction....?....A Turbo doesn't need to be timed with the engine...There isn't a setting....Only the direction of the turbo inlet and outlet needs to be set sometimes for proper installation.

I1960 chev 283 motor won'tstart when cold unless pump gas several times and crank motor serveral times

you will have to check the choke setting to make sure its set properly, also check the accelerator pump as the diaphragm maybe weak and need replacing. it may need a carb rebuild. check the fuel pump for pumping the proper fuel pressure.

How do I set a timing belt for a 1989 Mazda 929

You need to get a manual. Try the Haynes manual for your car. Try autozone; generally available for around $20. This is not the type of thing that can be covered here in enough detail to do you any good. You need a picture.
Buy new timing belt. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove timing belt cover. make sure cylinder #1 is set at TDC. making sure all components are properly aligned and loosen pensioner to remove old timing belt. Install new timing belt. Tension belt, ensure all components are aligned properly, replace timing belt covers and reconnect battery.

How to set the timeing on 91 geo storm

The timing marks are located near the top of the crankshaft pulley on the plastic timing belt cover. There is a notch in the pulley to mark TDC (Top Dead Center)
Align the notch with the 0 mark on the plastic cover to set your base timing.
Ground the proper circuit on the ALDL connecter located under the dashboard somewhere under the steering wheel. Check the manual for the proper circuit to ground.
With the engine warm and the circuit grounded. Set the proper timing. Un-ground the circuit and you are done.

Timing belt setting and my car iddle are out of form mazda etude

Your camshaft and crankshaft pulleys have to be properly aligned upon installation of the timing belt. The cogs on the belt, should fit precisely with the teeth of the pulleys. Your # 1 engine cylinder should be moved to "Top Dead Center" before installing the belt. This means no compression once the top of the piston cylinder reaches the top of the chamber.
