Question about 1995 GMC Suburban
I just replaced a shorted ignition coil and dirty fuel filter. After several cranks the engine finally started and seemed to run OK. However, after sitting over night the engine won't start again.
The fuel pump relay is OK and the voltage at the relay terminals seems OK too. Any help will be appreciated.

Ronald Mueller probably has the answer. The logic behind his reasoning is that if you had fuel line problems to start off with, or suspected fuel line problems which caused you to change the fuel filter, the next bet is the fuel pump. There are two valves in the pump body which, on older cars (pre 1970 or so) were replaceable, but on later vehicles, when they go they go and you have to get a new pump.
you can spend money and have the pump pressure checked by a service expert if you have doubts, or just get a new fuel pump.

You have a weak fuel pump and it should be replaced. according to your observation the engine finally started but it was after alot of cranking. this indicates that the pump is not working like it should and can't keep the system primed.
