There are no specialized tools required other than mectric wrenches some screw drivers and ratchet/sockets. a little common sense is all the knowledge you need. make sure to top off the coolant.good luck. please rate this solution.

I want to know what type off bearing does the diff take for a Isuzu 2007 kb fleetside(go big) take

If you are deep into repairing a differential you should know about bearings. Therefore I'm politely suggesting you need trained assistance in what is a very technical procedure requiring special tools and previous knowledge. Its not a front driveway casual fix.

Transmission fluid land rover freelander 2002

Your going to have to go to a repair or trans shop for that,
unless you have the tools & auto knowledge, to be working
on them

There is no stick or filler tube

Most transmissions made in the last ten years,
require getting under the body & removing plugs
with special tools

Metric Hex Drivers,Basic Allen or Metric Allen Drivers
or Torx Driver Bits, to check or fill

They can also require a certain trans fluid temp & even
the use of a professional scan tool, to look at temp before
checking & after changing fluid

Non of that requires a dealer

There is nothing that is sealed

ALL transmissions require the fluid be changed
every 3 years or they will fail

Yours takes special fluid

You will have to research the type & avail,
& it won't be cheap, when you own an expensive
& not so common vehicle, euro especially will eat
you alive in parts & service

2001 Chrysler Town & Country getting 9.6 mpg

yes you need a new thermostat or there is low coolant. this will affect the mpg because your overheating and thats why its stalling. dont drive until you fix or you will blow your head gasket if it isnt blown already. change thermostate and check coolant.

I need to know how to remove the transmission on a 2000 mercury sable

Simple, disconnect the 'drive shaft', disconnect the linkage and unbolt the bell housing from the engine, pull out the transmission.

Very easy to say ... not so easy to do. Have you ever don't this before? Ever? If not, don't expect this to go well. You need special tools and equipment as well as advanced knowledge. And after you get it out ... what are you doing? Putting in a replacement? I can tell you, unless you are transmission specialty shop, you don't have the expertise or special tools required to fix your transmission. This is a very difficult and dangerous job to do successfully.

Do I need a special hex key from the dealer to open up the steering wheel? 96' Nissan pickup. I hear loose metal in the steering wheel every time I turn.

No dealer ever, has ever had a key,a secret, and no vehicle is made that
EVER requires a dealer EVER,for anything

You own your vehicles, you do not have to ever go to a dealer

We do not live in a communist country or some vehicle repair prison

The non dealer repair shops, have more tools than a dealer
Most techs ,have more personal tools than an entire dealership

If you have no knowledge, experience,no tools, you have to
go down the street to get it fixed

How to change tye-rods on 2000 cirrus

There are two tie rod ends on each side, an inner and an outer. Each one
requires a special tool to remove. When the new parts are installed, the vehicle must be aligned, which again requires special knowledge and tools. Unless you own an alignment rack, a lift, and all the special tools, you are not going to be able to do this yourself.

Location of thermostate on engine

You're going to lose some coolant, so have a bucket or other container ready. Follow the upper radiator hose to the point where it's connected to the engine. The hose is clamped to a metal housing which is bolted to the engine. Remove the bolts (not the hose) and lift the housing to expose the thermostat (may require a little prying with a screwdriver or similar tool). Note how the old thermostat is fitted (which end is up), lift it out of the engine, and then remove all traces of gasket from the housing and the engine. Install the new thermostat and gasket, replace the bolts, add coolant as necessary, and you're done.
