What is the red switch on side of lift gate 2005 durango

That is the Rollover safety switch. It will disable the fuel pump if the vehicle is involved in an accident to prevent a fire. Push the button in till it clicks to make sure it is in the reset position. Sometimes slamming a door can trip this switch. Check it often.

Why won't my 2002 Clk 430 crank and shift into drive? It was in a minor accident.

depending on the amount/location of damage to the vehicle you could have damaged the wiring harness leading to blown fuses, or damaged important sensors/relays that, if damaged, wont allow the vehicle to start. or you could have tripped the rollover switch which cuts the power to the engine in the event of a rollover to help prevent fires. but can be set off if damaged or hit hard enough. Start checking fuses and wiring on the damaged part of the vehicle. I hope this info helps.

My Eldorado was in a accident! The front was damaged! I got the damaged fixed now it sounds like no fuel is getting to the engine

There is a fuel shut off switch normally located in the rear drivers side behind a small removable door. Some call it a rollover switch too.

Where is rollover switch on 1991 240 volvo station wagon

I don't think there is a rollover switch on a '91 wagon.
The ECU supplies ground to the fuel pump relay for only about a second and a half if there is no ignition pulse. This is what shuts off the fuel pump in the event of an accident. The transistor in the ECU that provides this ground signal fails after a couple of decades. Repairing it is not a do-it-yourself operation but there are rebuilt ECUs available from multiple sources. Be sure to get an ECU that is compatible with your vehicle configuration.

Fuel pump not working

I don't know of any rollover switch, but there is a fuse and relay, chk. them. Fuel pumps go bad, common problem on G.M. cars and trucks.
