Question about 1998 Ford Windstar
Did complete overhaul, spark plugs wires etc. the next day the traction control light keeps blinking and when you are deriving it's like the vbrakes are still sticking, brand new brake shoes and just had the rotors machined other than that no other problems, scann computer and the code came up as U1009 for traction contraol but what does this mean
The code means that the traction control module is detecting a problem with the solenoid that controls the ingage/dis ingage of the wheels. also if the sending units of the ABS system are either moved or damaged this could also throw a code. seeing you just replaced the brakes and rotors i would start there.
