Have you changed the fuel filter? Possibly restricted. Check engine light on? Scan for codes that may pertain to this issue. Possible throttle position sensor or throttle actuator.

I recently have been having problems with my 2001 Ford Windstar shutting down when i go in reverse and it shuts down when i come to a stop. What could be wrong?

it could be a blocked fuel filter ,a bad idle solinoid , a week fuel pump, a bad throttle position sensor ,dirty air filter , If car is not running ruff before putting in gear . if running ruff all the time it could be bad plugs, injectors coils plug wires or any of the above. check for a vaccume leak it is a # 1 problem with windstars. if this was helpful please leave good feed back

try cleaning the samll exposed heated wires in the MAF sensor with carb cleaner spray. Do not touch them. Usually on large, plastic convolute air intake hose to throttle body.

2001 Ford Windstar van seems to skip when you push

It may be due to plugs, fuel filter, fuel pump, or mass airflow sensor. Is your check engine light on?

1997 Ford windstar Low power and very poor acceleration under load. Bogs down severly under load. No codes, fuel pressure at 35 at idle and around 40 under a load.

35 is low fuel pressure, should be around 40-44 PSI and 46-50 PSI under a load, replace the fuel filter it may be clogged.

MY 98 FORD WINDSTAR STALLS WHEN I IDLE OR COMING TO A STOP I'VE CHANGED AIR FLOW SENSOR, AIR FILTER, SPARK PLUGS, AND FUEL FILTER ANY IDEAS?

I'd be looking at removing IAC valve, and cleaning it out with throttle body spray cleaner, and checking mounting gasket as well. Usually some success with cleaning it & spray ports it came out of, but if not you may need to replace it.

My 1999 Ford Windstar keeps stalling even though we changed the oil recently and the gas tank is full

if it keeps stalling it could be an obstructed fuel filter, a weak fuel pump, or your tps(throttle position sensor) is faulty.

Ford windstar fuel filter

you could have a leak either at the throttle body, injector rail or a small craack in the intake. also i would check to see that the fuel lines to the injector rail are secure and tight
