Question about Mitsubishi Montero

The speed meter on my montero 2001 stucks at 40mph when it runs and returns back to 10mph when it stops. The milage looks working fine. Any suggestion ?

You will need to replace the speedo head or have it repaired by a factory speedo service center, your Mitsubishi dealer can provide you with a name and phone number.

MY 2001 dodge durago wont shift

That is what I would say too. Either the throttle position sensor or the Speed sensor. Those both would cause that problem.

My 2002 Mitsubishi Montero will shake real bad at about 40mph/2000rpm's, once your over that speed it will stop. It does not do this when you first start driving and the engine is cold but once it warms up...

This sounds like a wheel balance problem. A local tyre depot will fix in minutes. Try this first before you pay for expensive suspension and steering fixes.

I have a 2001 chrysler town & country and the front blower stopped running.

You will need to test power in and out of the resistor with a meter to see if it's working correctly. You will see full battery voltage coming into it and variable voltage coming out to the fan as you increase the speed with the switch.

The odometer/milage counter stopped working.

You need to replace the VSS or vehicle speed sensor. Located on LH, lefthand rear of transmission.
