Re: 1994 olds 88
Sounds like the baffle in the fuel tank could be loose. I remember that problem on those when they were new. the only repair for that was/is to replace the tank. before you do that you should install a fuel pressure guage to it and test drive and watch the fuel press. it should stay above 35 psi. and even rise when accelerating if the fuel pressure regulator is ok. good luck.

Sorry, but that is a wide open question for which there is no single answer. There are a lot of things that can cause what you are describing. It could be anything from needing a simple tune up to major engine problems or even a clogged-up exhaust.
More information needed. It could be because of a tire with a separated tread, an ignition miss, a bad spark plug, an engine problem. With so many possibilities you need to define the symptoms better. Does the engine run rough when accelerating with the transmission in park? Does it go away at higher speeds? Has it been worked on recently and deeloped a problem after that? Did it start suddenly? Is there a loss of power or difficult starting? How many miles are on the engine?
There is a big possibility that you have wheels that are not balanced. You should have the wheels check wear, missing wheal weights ect. I think if you get this done it will take care of the problem. Good luck.....
Locate you computer (right front kick panel) and tap on it with a pen while the car idles... Also flex it back and forth with your hands to see if the car runs rough or quits... You may need a new one.
