Looking for a engine vacuum hose diagram for a 1993 mazda mx3 GS 1.8 liter v6 i have an idling problem and I am pretty sure it's vacuum related

Make sure that the valve cover gaskets are not leaking oil into the sparkplug wells . this will cause a bad misfire and bad idle.i know this because i just fixed my mx3 v6 and this was the problem on mine. new valve cover gaskets and clean the plug wells out and clean the plug wires and problem solved!!!

You can get that diagram from the dealer just ask the guys in the parts dept for a print out,, to locate a loose or broken vacuum line, you can spray some carb cleaner in the areas that you think may have a bad line, the RPM's will jump up when the cleaner is sucked into the bad line

The 6 cylinder 1.8 engine in the Mazda is not the same as the 3.0 engine in the Taurus.
So I doubt the parts would interchange.

your best bet is to purchase service manual from Autozone, Advance, auto parts stores. They handle Haynes & Clymers manuals (they run about $10) or Amazon, Barnes & Noble. I checked online and you're right it's a mystery why the Mazda forums lack that info...

it sounds like a starter, you can try hitting it and it shud work but you would have to get it replaced , also check to make sure the belts are tight
