Stuck in low gear

If you have a push button you may have broken the vacum line that controls the transfer case. It is on top so hard to get to but a cheep fix.
If you have a floor shift when you were stuck you may have a damaged the linkage. The linkage can be adjusfed to shift in gear. You may need to get new linkage.

My transmission does not shift it stays in one gear and the check engine lights on

if it is stuck in low gear suspect a speed sensor issue. If it is stuck in a higher gear such as 2nd or 3rd you will need to retrieve codes from the trans computer to diagnose.

All lights in gear lights light up, speedometer won't work and will only work in low gear

The main problem - stuck in low gear indicates that the shift solenoid may have gone out. In that case it must be replaced. This happens to all these vans eventually. BUT, you might try checking the transmission fluid level just to make sure it is not too low.

How fast should i go in 4wd low

Your no going too fast for sure. This gear is designed to crawl...also known as a granny gear. You should never have to use this LOW gear, unless your climbing a steep hill, or severly stuck is sugar sand.

Stuck in low gear, key comes out. suspect something wrong in steering column

Could be your shift cable adjustment. In the engine compartment move the shift cable forward ( you can do this by hand) This will move the transmission out of low gear and into park. You will probably find you can now shift into the other gears without problem but if you go into low it will stick again. You might be able to adjust it or you might have to replace the cable.
