Question about 1998 Ford Windstar
I was stopped at a stoplight, and when the light turned green, my van would not go. It made no strange noises, it just would not drive.
The car starts perfectly and seems to run just fine, but will not drive when put in gear. Any help?
A pin or something like that came loose in the steering column where the gear shift moves.
It happened to mine and a mechanic opened it up an put it back and tighten the bolts.
Does your **** rod move very loose and wobbly when you move it into different gears? That's how mine was for a very long time until a screw or nut (forgot) fell out from the steering column.
