if it starts when you jumped it to a good battery, then your battery is loosing its power.
maybe your alternator is not charging.

if you can test your battery voltage then you would know if the alternator is charging.

while running at idle, the battery voltage should at least be 13 volts,
    at 2000 rpm at least 14 v
at idling with headlights on, 12.5 v
    with ac on, 12 volts

if battery readings are below the suggested readings, then alternator is not charging.

if the car starts from a good battery then you may have a bad alternator and the new battery got drained.

check the voltage of your battery

at idling, the battery should be at least 13v
    at 2000 rpm-14 v
at idling with headlights on - 12.8 v
with ac on and headlights - 12.5 v

if the readings are way below the suggested should have your alternator check...

you have to find the alternator, remove the fan belt that is in the alternator.remove all the wires that you see attached to it, label each wire so that you know where to put them back, remove the bolts that are holding it and remove it. then do the reverse in installing a new one.

Hello: The battery is under the rear bottom seat cushion. Please check the cable connections for corrosion and tightness. If cable bolts are bad corroded they need to be replaced. Clean all connections with battery cleaner (Auto Zone etc) You may have to replace the battery. (while working with the battery make sure the ignition key is OFF. If above doesn't correct problem have the alternator checked, again auto zone, advance auto etc.)

MY 325I would not start - when the key was turned, it would just make a clicking noize. I tried t jump start but that din't help. I did crank and continue to crank for a few day but slow. today it...

This definetly sounds like a battery issue......the clicking is the starter motor receiving current but not enought to turn, and when it did crank, there was not enough voltage to provide power for the injection sytem........I would first be either charging or replacing the battery.......and seeing if it starts.......Then if it starts, I would be checking the charging system and all power devices, to make sure the new/recharged battery does not go flat........Good luck
