Has anyone found an oil pan or a solution to your problem?
I have not been able to drive my 04 Pacifica since middle of June. Just got a call today and they have pushed the date for new pans out to middle of October!! I was told there our 35 cars waiting for pans that are undrivable, This is NUTS!!
Please share some advice.....The pan can not be welded.....too large of a crack.

It sounds to me that your problem is above the headliner. There are drain tubes at each corner of the sunroof pan that allow water to drain under an outside of the vehicle. It sounds like one of the front tubes has either cracked, come off, or are just plugged up and allowing the water to overflow the pan.
Drive car on ramps or 2 2x12s reach behind oil pan remove bolt drain hot oil from car that has just been driven.into pan. When oil is just dripping very slow say 15 min replace plug. Now just behind front bumper next to engine is an oil filter remove it with an oil filter wrench. Make sure the gasket came off with the filter or just reach up with a clean rag and wipe the housing it will fall off if you touch it. Put oil on gasket of new filter and screw it on when the gasket touches the housing go 3/4 s of a turn more. Put in about 5-1/2 to6 quarts of 10w 30 oil. Start engine for a min ck for leaks shut off and ck dip stick and make sure it reads full after sitting 5 min or so to let oil dip down into pan
If you fequnt any quick lube places they use air tools to remove the drain plug and it often strips the threads in the oil pan. So in answer to your question, yes the oil pan needs to be replaced or else the iol leaks out at a pretty fast rate. I would suggest gettting this and future oil changes done at your local Chrysler dealer.
