My 1996 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0L has a similar problem. The oil pressure constantly fluctuates between 20-60 psig; idle or hiway speeds, it doesn't matter.

Yes i have the same thing with my 1996 jeep grand cherokee laredo 5.2L. But I will add that it only does it when I have to push on the brakes to slow down quikly from high speeds and when I'am in the city. Oh and I also must say that I have replaced the computer chip with a chip that isn't the exact one, as the dealer didn't have one at the time I needed it. Oh and if anyone can shre with me and all the others who are wondering where the oil sending unit is. Thanks Darren Jeep Fan

Check engine light came on, took to jeep dealer, they charged $100 to tell me to replace a bunch of stuff and then said even that wouldn't guarantee the light would go off or that it would pass smog test (which is law in california) - do you think i can get my money back? or any fixes on check engine light, typiclal for this year Jeep? thanks
