Question about 1997 Plymouth Neon
I have a 1997 Neon. The other day I heard a thud which sounded like it came from under the car. Then my car lost power and the door bell rang constantly. I took it for repair and they replaced the spark plug. The car runs, but the bell still rings. I don't see anything in the owners manuel, but was wondering if the ringing bell meant something else was wrong. Or, how do I get the bell to stop ringing. Thanks!
Is there any type of check engine light on or any type of warning light is the sound of the bell the same bell sound when you open your door or seatbelt warning

There are 2 rubber bumper pads on the door it self 1 is for the dorr buzzer/ ringer and the other is for the door ajar light chack and make shure both bumpers are there and commect with the buttons on the body when the door get closed, if there is no bumper and you gist want a quick bypass to make the door ajar sound go away there is a ground screw on the switch take it out problem solved but the noise will never come back on if you leave your lights on or the kays in the ignition...
