Question about 2002 Ford F250 Super Duty SuperCab
When your driving and out side air temp is above 90 Deg. A/c working fine but you slow down or come to a stop and it stops cooling. Charge is great. I have jumped low pressure switch and it does not help. Do these trucks have high pressure cut out and where is it. Or should I jumper Tstat. Have friends with same problem. Has anybody fixed this. HELP!!!!!

I would first try and clean your a/c condessor. the enemy of a/c cooloing systems is restricted air flow dirt and debri are a common cause of plugging up the condenssor so air can't pass over the coils and fins. in a 134a system high pressure side should be in the 120-150psi and 30-45 psi on low side make sure that your system is charged to recommended capacity and that there is no blockage of system. if all this is in working order then your expansion valve is faulty(this regulates the a/c system)
