Question about 1998 Chevrolet Malibu
Checked coil pack and ign mod also timing all is good but still have prob any suggestions
Checked the O2 and mass air flow sensors (shot in the dark) O2 sensor is on your exhaust manifold and the mass air flow is on your intake might be sending bad signals to your electronic control module (ECM) another scenerio hope this aint your situation had same problem on 3.0 liter engine turned out after trying everything to be burnt valve so a compression check might not be bad idea hope this helps
