My dealer says I must replace the entire assembly holding the lamps because they might cause a fire. I told them they are at fault but they won't replace it for free. The plastic that holds the bulbs is melted. I spoke to someone at Chrysler Group Headquarters and they say I must pay but I refused saying I should be able to buy 2 $3.00 bulbs and that's it. They don't agree. They won't admit to having defective parts. I am planning on calling the National Safety Council and asking for their help. If they don't help I will file a small claims court case like the lady suing Honda for not delivering on the projected mileage on the sticker for her hybrid. Anyone having this problem should coplain to Chrysler and the National Safety Council.

Open hatch. Remove the 2 push bolts with trim tool or small screwdriver. Rotate the taillight housing to the outside of van. Don't brake tab off of housing. Squeeze connector to remove blub. There is a fuse for each taillight also, under the hood.

Pop the cover off with flat-head screwdriver, then pull the bulb straight out and push new one in.
