i have 3 coils and what does burrig mean?

  • KAREGIVER610 Sep 03, 2008

Thanks but actually i found out what the problem was. Seems the key has a code on it and where it had been started so many times the car wasn't reading it so i took it to a garage and they bypassed the coded key. Seems the tumblers in the ignition was worn down and couldn't read the code but thanks for the help

well guess what?...we went to the school last night, drove the buick and was there an hour and came out and the car wouldn't start AGAIN!..It's doin' the same thing. It acts like it wants to start but it won't FIRE. should we just take it to a garage and let them put it on the dianostic machine(spell check) and see what the deal is because we can'T figure it out. Could it be the brain is NOT readin' somethin'? We thought we had it fixed when we had the security system bypassed or thats what the guy told us WAS the problem. He said the coded key was bad. GOD who knows with these cars?..HELP!!!!

SOURCE: My car won't start, I

need more information, does it crank, and not start? Or no crank? If it cranks and does not start, the first suspect would be a crank sensor, they do that...if it does not crank, the battery has to be charged first to get it to crank-we can go on from there...

SOURCE: Blower working but compressor won't

Hi, can you provide the year and model? I understand the fan motor is working, but the air is warm vs. cool. This is a common issue when there is not enough freon in the ac system to allow the compressor to cycle. Is there enough freon in the system? A gauge will be required to check this critical procedure. Thanks.

Went to the mall and got back to car and car wouldn't start. Had to call roadside assistance for a jump. Got home, turned car off and car won't restart. No interior lights.

Sounds like a dead battery, the fact that you were able to drive it all the way home after being jump started means that your alternator is working fine, but as soon as you turned it off there is no way to restart it since the battery is bad. Take out the battery and go have it tested at your local auto parts store to be sure, but that is most likely the cause.

I have a 97 Crown Vic/w police interceptor....I asked a question several days ago because of issuses I'm having with my car. The car starts sometimes, with no problems. Other times...it won't...

Sounds like its a starter problem,if you can pull the starter off take it to an auto parts store,

there are many locations that have equipment to put a load on the starter, and they will be

able to tell if its bad. once you pull the starter off, if you can check the teeth on the fly wheel,

if there is a dead spot, the starter could spin and not engage the flywheel. I hope it's the

starter. the bendix on the starter the teeth that engage the flywheel could also have dead

spot's. and not engage all the time. good luck!

I have a 2006 Dodge Charger. Went out yesterday, car started fine. Got home and stooped at my mailbox, when I went to start the car it wouldn't start. I did notice the lights on the dash would go dim...

I'd start with a battery first. Sounds like the battery has 1 or more dead cells in it. the battery may have all the volts you could want but if it doesn't have the proper amperage it won't crank the motor. You can have the battery load tested for free at Auto Zone or Advance Auto. A simple down and dirty test would be to disconnect the Positive cable and jump the vehicle by connecting directly to that and a good ground on the block. The motor should turn over as long as the vehicle you use as a jump has the proper amperage in it's battery. If the vehicle starts then it is the battery, if it doesn't then you need to look at the starter and other components.
