I need help to change the door handle on the inside driver door. Detailed instructions or pictures would be of great help.
Remove the two screws in the arm rest pocket. Carefully pry around the bottom edge of the upholstered panel to release nylon stud & socket fasteners. Remove triangle trim panel at forward edge of window by prying loose the same fastener in the middle of that panel...lift upwards to remove. Lift the entire panel to unhook the top edge which hooks over the sheetmetal at the bottom of the window opening. The trim around the doorhandle is held in place by three three j-hooks which must be pressed towards the center of the handle to release. The door handle assy simply slides forward about 1/2" before coming loose from the metal in the door. You can buy extra stud & socket assemblies at a chev garage for pennies
