This is an almost un heard of problem. But it seems to me there is an electrical issue with your transmission. I'll explain why... If this was an actual mechanical component you could not turn off the car, then put back in drive and it work normally. So its definitely an electrical item that is reseting when you turn the car off, and then working again for the same amount of time it did the first time. Now the good thing is if you will take your car to a honda dealership they will fix this problem within an hour. Just make sure you go to a certified Honda dealership. Shouldnt cost ya that much most cost will be for the electrical part you need. Labor will run about 35 dollars an hour.. But like i said 1 hour should do it. So take 100 dollars for labor and the electrical component shouldnt be too bad i think you will be just fine man

  1. Place a long-handled, boxed-end wrench or a belt tension release tool (A) on the drive belt auto-tensioner from above the engine. Slowly turn the wrench in the direction shown to release the tension, then remove the drive belt.
WARNING This is a hydraulic type auto-tensioner; you must turn the wrench slowly.
  2. Install the new belt in the reverse order of removal.

My car wont move forward or reverse

Chances are is that the torque converter needs to be replaced. However, the transmssion on this vehicle are only serviceable by transmision shops. No regular mechanic will open up the transmission. When the torque converter fails (clutch and plates shutters to small pieces) the debri flows in the transmision thereby potentially destroying the gears and/or clogging the filter and pump. Go straight to a reputable transmission shop and let them correctly diagnose the transmission.

Weird noises in drive and reverse

The high pitched whine in reverse sounds normal for a honda. Ever honda I have had makes a similar noise while in reverse. The spinning, scraping noise in drive is not normal. You might want to see a mechanic about that.
