Open the glove compartment and press the two arms that hold the door in towards the center. This releases the glove compartment to drop out of the way. The fan resistor block can then be seen,
Remove the two electrical cables from the block and then the two screws that hold it in place.

Note: you may find that the resitor block is OK. In that case the fan switch may be bad...I'm having somthing of a problem like that.

Did you check the hvac 10 amp fuse? There is a 30 amp fuse for high and a 10 amp for the lower speeds. There is also a blower motor control module.

Trying to take lockclyinder for key switch out

its a pain in the but you have to take the steering wheel and air bag and lockout plate off one thing you could do i assume this has the little ressitor in it if you can get the power and every thing to come on but wont start you could install a push button to starter seloind will cost about 20 at parts store easy to put on or call a lock smith because the air bag sys has a coil thats wraped inside the wheel and if you dont get it put back just right it will break and cost you about 500.00 to fix hope this helps

How to fix heater wont work in 1994 buick lesabre

It may be a fan resistor if the fan is not working or only working on one speed, the fan ressitor is about $40.00 and is usually located under the glove box on the heater box, look for the plug that goes to the resistor unscrew the hold down bolts unplug the old switch and install the new one.

Lowes 3 fan speeds don't work

You need to replace the fan spped chip located under the hood....If you look under the hood at the blower motor, you will see the power plug for it. Follow the wires down to the chip board they run into That is your problem area.....power chanels 1,2, & 3 are burned out pull the 2 bolts and remove the board, replace with a new one...You can buy used if you like but odds are they'll have an issue with them too. Real easy fix.

Water in the Heater system

On the engine side of the firewall you need to find the small rubber drain hose. it is likely plugged up. dont stick anything hard in there or you can damage stuff inside the heater box.
