My hazard lights work OK , all fuses are intact but indicators do not work.
Recently had engine replaced and there are a few after market bits wired by clamping on active wires. One of these do not now work. I would be able to test wiring if I knew which wires go where? Is there an online wiring diagram available?

Turn signals, hazard lights do not work. No light on dash and no clicking. Switch clicks off when you turn the wheel as it normally should. Checked fuse, fuse is good. HELP!

I found the relay which is stuck up above the fuse box deep under the dash on my model.
The whole thing is a white plastic module with the fuses in a row and the black relay plugged in above the fuses. I had to remove the module (carefully AFTER I removed the battery terminals or you can watch the sparks fly and need to buy 10 new fuses!)

Still no solution to my prob. Looks like I will have to fork out for a diagnosic from an auto electrician
:-(

I strongly suspect a faulty combination switch. If AA confirm, I will need to remove steering wheel with a puller and get a replacement switch from a wrecker. D@#*ed if I am gunna pay an AA to do that for $300!

I have a 2005 chrysler voyager does the hazard switch also control indicators

Turn signal flasher also lights the indicator. When you engage the hazards you switch out the T/S flasher which is then replaced by the hazard flasher. Then that flasher operates the indicators.

The indicator lights are all stuck on. AU Ford station wagon. Removed relay, and all fuses, but still on. Disconnected battery and they turned off. Reconnected battery and they all came back on with no...

The AU ford has two indicator relays , turning lights and hazard lights ,both use the indicator lights ,the hazards flash both front and rear lights , the turning indicator flashes one front and one rear light. I think the fault may be in the hazard circuit.

When I turn on either left or right indicator both indicators light up

try pushing the hazard light switch again. what you have is the hazard lights in operation ( both sides indicators working) In normal indicator operation power from the flasher unit is directed to which ever side you select but by pressing the hazard light switch the indicator power lights up all lights.

is a new hazard switch you replaced it with and check to make sure the hazard swith is coming all the way out if it hangs just a little bit it will be in a neutral position and the turn signals wont work and if thats not it your multi-fuction switch feeds the turn signal lights it could be faulty

I have an 02 kia sportage. my signal lights come on but dont blink outside. no lights for the signal lights come on on the dash at all. also, no hazard lights.

If the 15A HAZARD fuse in the passenger compartment fuse box is OK, power is getting to the hazard function of the flasher unit. Pressing the hzard switch should cause the hazard lights to flash. HOWEVER, there is an electronic time and warning indication system module connected to to the hazard switch lead and that may be affecting things. If the 10A TURN fuse is OK, power is applied to the turn switch (with the engine in START or RUN) and you state you can select a right or left turn. HOWEVER, the RED/WHT and RED/BLU outputs from the flasher unit connect directly to the front and rear turn lamps and the instrument cluster turn indicators so you are not getting any flasher output. Again, that electronic time & warning indication system module could be affecting things

My turn signals and hazard light dont work on my 1997 dodge caravan

check for a feed first to teh indicators and the hazard switch if you have a feed then renew the hazard light switch first as this switch if defective will stop all the indicator lights from working

Signal lights have power and work will not blink when indicator is on light stays solid and hazards light do same.

that is usually an indication of a burnt out bulb in the turn signal/hazard lights. the other possibility may be a bad flasher. Check all the running, blinker and hazard lights by turning them on one at a time and walk around the car looking for burnt out lights.

Flashing Unit for Indicators Replacement

Most likely it's the hazard switch - the relay for the hazards and the turn signals is built into it. When they start to die, you will see erratic behavior with the turn signals and/or hazards, and eventually they'll both fail completely. Replace your hazard switch on the dash and you'll be good to go.
