04 taurus wont start

I have recently noticed that it has become harder and harder to get my car to start, first it was an initial stall or two here and there, but now it's getting to the point that it will take at 20-30 mins to get the car started, and I have to pump the accelarator to get her going. what's happening here?

Hello theres two things that can cause this problem one is your Tps sensor is out of range this controls your throttle plate threw the computers command second is iac motor Idle control valve if this is sludged with varnish it will stick causing stalling ,hard starting, rough idle, even no starts both parts are located on your throttle body both are held by two star screws i would check tps for out of range goodluck please rate

2009 honda fit fuse diagram

all that is normal but the overheated ,did it?
there are 6 signs of overheated. ask. at least.
modern cars the EFI systems. try to prevent damage by drivers
that ignore overheating,
my chev PU, cuts injectors 1 by one till the goofy driver, parks car.

please say , what happens next. wont start?
btw 2,
my guess, is your engine stalled, ? and you then didnt notice
hard steering and 3td time applied brakes are harder?
and that RPM hit zero, and engine went silent? (my wild guesses)

yes> that the dash does show the test lamp mode
to understand that, get in car, turn key to Igntion on, no start
see all those lamps glowing, it is a self test.
the glove box oper. guide explains that on how to start the engine page.
the CEL comes on , on all stalled engines. this only means.
the PCM has power, (elect) and thinks, its kinda ok. selfttest ok.
brakes and charge glows, for same reason,.selftest , RTM.

if the CEL comes on , driving, and the overheated happens
if you do a OBD2 scan tool scan, it shows overheated.
if fact obd2 scans will show the actual engine temperature.
200f normal 250+ overheated.
if all this is hard, , find any ASE mechanic.
and btw, do not run an overheated engine or the $5 bad hose becomes a new engine time.

95 Ford Taurus SHO 3.2 stalls randomly

On one of the occasions when it won't start back up, someone will need to figure out if you have lost spark to the plugs or fuel to the injectors to be able to troubleshoot the problem.

My 1995 Oldsmobile 98 stalls while driving , usually the traction control dash light comes on prior.

Sounds like the Crank Position Sensor is going out...it apparently is still re-starting and runs for a while before the stall happens again...also becomes harder to re-start if left unattended...

I dont know much about corvettes But if the voltage regulator is in the altenator it could be sticking drawing voltage even if the car is not running. Dis connect the plug in overnight and see if it starts in the morning if it does the regulator is sticking shut replace the alternator
