Pull the alternator and have it checked at autozone. Sounds like the alternator isn't charging the battery

Make sure the battery terminals stay clean, once its fully charged, check the voltage on the posts with the motor running, you should read 14.5 volts ,, if not, make sure the connections are clean on the alternator,, check voltage again, if its not 14.5 volts,, your alternator is defective

2000 Park Ave buick keep dying

I need more information than it just keeps dying. Is the battery dying. Do you have to give it a boost. Can you tell if the alternator is charging as you are driving. Does the dashboard light get brighter when you step on the gas. I am guessing that if the battery. My guess is that you need a new Alternator voltage Regulator. They cost under $70 and are apparently easy to replace but incredibly hard to diagnose in a car so if when you are driving and your dash lights brighten or your headlights brighten when you step on the gas that could be the problem.

After sitting for several months, 2003 Infiniti QX4 battery dead. Charged, started, but when you put it in gear, it dies.

First you wanna know where this problem is coming from. 1,check battery to make sure the cells are holding the change, if not then you need new battery
If battery is good then something from the car is draining battery.
Could be alternator, could be your stereo , ????

2002 jeep grand Cherokee. . Went to start it up sounded like it was then just died. .. no power at all. Can't even lock the doors manually. Battery is new 6 months old.

Clean battery terminal connections (most likely a battery post corrosion problem on a 12 year old vehicle), and check the condition of your charging system (alternator and regulator).

Batteries keep dying

A short somewhere. All shorts can lead to fires, so take it to the dealer or go to a mechanic who does electrical work such as a starter shop.
