Question about 2001 Nissan Altima
Pal03246, thanks for the quick response. I have already tried this once
with no change in engine performance. Basically my 97 altima chokes
(that may not be the best word, but seems to describe the problem) at
lower rpm and does not run smoothly at higher rpm. It makes a
sputtering noise out of the exhaust and the engine seems to shake. Any
Sounds like this needs to be diagnosed fruther with a scanner/consult 2 to see how certain components are working in the car such as 02 sensors and MAF sensor/air flow meter. problems like this are hard ti diagnose over the internet, where I can't actually look at the car in real life. But it could be MAF/air flow meter. Just do one test. Find the A/C drain tube located on firewall on passenger side. See if you can blow some compressed air into the drain hose and see if any water comes out. Let me know what you find.
