Question about 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan AWD

Blower stuck on high speed

Blower runs on high speed even with climate control turned off, if you pull the fuse,or relay , or turn off the ignition it stops.Should the blower rlay energize even with the blower resistor unplugged? Also energizes with the climate control unplugged. Don't know if this is related but I am told (by the wife) that with the a/c turned on that the engine intermittently surges from 1000 rpm to 1500 rpm but returns to normal if she gives it gas or turns off the a/c???

Blower running full power - unable to control

your high speed fan relay contacts are stuck together that power the fan, normally the selectot switch on the dash controls power to the relay for on and off,but when the contacts weld themselves together you no have control over the fan speed even with the key off,its probably under the hood in a black box marked relays and fuses, remove the relays one at a time till it kills the fan, sometimes hitting the offending relay on the ground will break the contacts loose, but still replace it

Air conditioning blower stays on at all times.

Per your description, I believe you may have a blower fan relay that is stuck closed.
Remove the relay from the under-hood fuse center and see if the fan stops.
If it does stop, put the relay in slowly and see if you here the relay "click" and the fan come back on.
Let me know.
