Jack the car up. Remove the brake caliper and tie out of the way. Remove the outer tie rod end. Remove the upper ball joint. While the car is still on the ground, use a breaker bar and socket, loosen, and remove the axle nut. Remove bend the spindle assembly outward and push in on the axle to take it out of the hub assembly. Once it's cleared the hub assembly, give it a good tug and the axle will pop out of the transaxle.

Front drive shaft? Look to the front differential. Rear shaft shouldn't turn at all on the ground. Then look at the T case.

Is there a drive shaft

no, there is no "drive shaft" on a 94 oldsmobile. It is front wheel drive. you have a CV shaft from trans to left front wheel and a separate CV shaft from trans to right front wheel.

Better still find a peugeot 307 or a ford focus all with manual transmission, and a high fuel economy so the rag heads can drink crude and live in the desert and ride camels

1996 buick lasabre

A 1996 Buick Lasabre is a front wheel drive (FWD) car, so the front of the motor is facing the front passenger side wheel of the car. That said, the power steering fluid reservoir should be close to the front passenger side wheel tower.
