Question about Mercury Sable
How do you solve the ground problem with the shift solenoids on a 94 park avenue
Posted on Apr 23, 2011
Th is is a transmission problem. inside the transmission there are solenoids that operate in which gear it should move if the solenoid is stuck closed the trans won't shift. before taking it to a shop try using lucas additive for trans hopefully this is a cheap solution it runs about 10 dollars a pint which is more than enough. if it still won't shift than the only thing to do is have a shop replace it.
