BATTERY LIGHT AND EMERGENCY BRAKE STAY LIGHT ON DASH

Hi there:
Check the brake fluid level in the master cylinder. This is the only other thing that will turn that light on. There is a float inside the master and if it is low, the light will come on. Be sure to check and make sure the float comes up when you top it off.

Hope helps.

Brake light on dash evening when the emergency brake is not on. what could cause this? also does thie vehicle have brake shoe or pads for the emergency brake.

Typically if your brake light is on and there is nothing going on with the Ebrake, when the pads start to wear down, that can drop the fluid level and set off that light. You may need to just replace pads and possibly top off fluid. Hope this helps.

The brake light comes on, on the dash. Brakes work O.K.2003 mercury grand marquis. 112000 miles. the dealer says the pads are good.

Make sure your emergency brake pedal is all the way up, because sometimes if it goes down one notch, that can trigger that light to come on..It wont be enough to drag or slow the sar down, but it will be enough to turn that light on...Also even though your brakes are good..double check your break fluid level...

Please my 1997 honda accord dash board brake lamp is on permanetly, what should i do

Check brake fluid level, check hand brake (emergency) is down & released all the way. Otherwise, have brakes checked a.s.a.p. in case of dangerous problem. Not something you want to ignore.
