Not the Key but the ignition itself. Replace teh ignition module where the key is inserted to start the vehicle and that should resolve the issue.

Car wont turn over so i think it might be a problem with the fuel tank and dont you supposed to here it make noise when you try to start your car

You say it won't turn over. Then your problem is with the battery, ignition switch, or starter. If you hear a click, click, click, then the battery is dead. If you hear nothing then it may be a bad ignition switch. Turn on the headlights and then attempt to start the engine. If you hear a click, the lights dim, and it will not turn over, the starter is suspect. Check the voltage at the battery with a voltmeter set to DC voltage on the 20 volt scale. These are the readings you look for. clay58_38.png If your battery is not reading at least 12.2 volts it needs charging or replacement. If the battery is over 3 years old, it more than likely needs replacing. Now if I am missing what you are saying and the engine does turn over but will not start then turn on the ignition without trying to start the engine. You should hear the fuel pump run for a few seconds and then shut down. If you do not, then the fuse may be blown or the fuel pump relay may be defective. The fuel pump itself may also be bad. You may have to open the fuel filler door and remove the cap and listen at that location while someone else turns on the ignition in order to hear the pump running.

Dead battery even after 12 hours of charging?

Sounds like battery is fine, or at least o.k. , but there is a problem with the starting system. If you put headlights on, then have someone try to start it while you watch headlights, and they don't dim way down, then battery if o.k. for now. Do you know what killed the battery originally, was it just from sitting for a while & not being used? Listen & locate the clicking noise if you can, it sounds like relay or solenoid. You can try a boost & see if that may help. If it's automatic, move shifter through all gears, then try. If standard, make sure clutch in all the way . Let me know what happens.

Nothing is working when I try starting my car!

HI................
DON'T worry. as you describe.
Is just the battery. Or the terminal corroded.
The Battery can be damaged one day to next day.

Just replace or recharge the battery.
And you will fine.

NOTE: Check if you have the code for the RADIO.
Because if you disconnect the battery the radio can be reset.
And ask for code. Be sure to you have it.

OK>>> I hope this onformation work for you.
Thank you for use fixya.
