Its just fitted with few screws and hidden lock clips.The clips are very delicate and can break easily.But no worry,the clips are easily available.
on some vehicle models these screws are hidden.Once the panel is loose, don't just pull it out,there are few wire connectors connected,first disconnect the connector plug,then lift the panel out and keep in safe place for re-installing.

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION Window Regulator, Power Front Door
Removal

1. If front door window glass (21410) is in the down position and is inoperable, the following steps must be taken; if front door window glass is operational, go to Step 2.
   
1. Remove front door trim panel (23942) and front door trim shield (237A04). Refer to Section 01-05 .
2. Disconnect battery ground cable (14301). Refer to Section 14-01 .
3. Disconnect window regulator electric drive harness connector.
4. CAUTION: Be careful not to strike or scratch front door window glass because it can break.
   Remove window regulator electric drive retaining screws through holes.
5. Remove window regulator electric drive (23394) from front door power window regulator.
6. Raise front door window glass to full up position by hand and secure with tape.
7. Go to Step 5.
   
   
2. Remove front door trim panel and front door trim shield. Refer to Section 01-05 .
3. Remove front door window glass as described.
   
4. Disconnect window regulator electric drive harness connector.
   
5. NOTE: Use care not to enlarge sheet metal holes in the door inner panel.
   
   Remove two 1/4-inch rivets retaining lower bracket of front door power window regulator to inner panel. Use drift punch to knock out center pins for each rivet. Using a 1/4-inch diameter drill, drill out remainder of rivet.
   
6. Remove three window regulator electric drive retaining screws from inside door to remove window regulator electric drive from front door power window regulator.
   
7. Remove two window regulator retaining nuts.
   
8. Remove front door power window regulator from front door (20124).
   

Installation

1. Lubricate regulator mechanism with Teflon® Lubricant E7FZ-19590-A or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESB-M1C111-A.
   

1. Install front door power window regulator minus motor (23208) into access hole in inner panel.
   

1. Position front door power window regulator using upper studs and tabs on window regulator electric drive mounting bracket.
   

1. Install rivets retaining front door power window regulator to door inner panel (1/4-20 x 1/2 inch screw and 1/4-20 nut and washer assemblies or equivalent metric fasteners may be used).
   

1. Install two upper front door power window regulator retaining nuts.
   

1. Install window regulator electric drive with three screws. Do not overtighten screws.
   

1. Connect the window regulator electric drive harness connector.
   

1. Install front door window glass.
   

1. Adjust front door window glass as described.
   

1. Install front door trim shield and front door trim panel. Refer to Section 01-05

Removal

1. Remove the front door trim panel (23942). Refer to Section 01-05 for the removal procedure.

Removal

1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Section 01-05 for the removal procedure.

Removal

1. Use a small flat-blade screwdriver to pry the power outside rear view mirror control switch from the instrument panel (04320).
   
   
   

It sounds like the the linkage, actuator (power locks), or the mechanism has broken or become dislodged.
On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Pull back the weather seal and you should see everything and hopefully see the cause.

Removal

1. NOTE: The rear door window glass must be completely raised.
   Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Section 414-01 .

Trim Panel —Rear Door, Expedition Removal

1. Remove the power window switchplate (14524).

1. Disconnect the electrical connector.

1. Remove the rear door handle trim cover.

   • Remove the door handle bolt.

1. Remove the rear door trim panel screws at bottom of panel.

1. CAUTION: To avoid damage to the rear door trim panel, do not pull directly outward.
   Lift upward and then outward to remove the rear door trim panel (27406).

1. Remove the rear door watershield.

1. Disconnect the power door lock actuator electrical connector.

1. Drill out the power door lock actuator rivet.

1. Remove and discard the screws.

1. Remove the power door lock actuator.
   • Disconnect the power door lock actuator rod.

Installation

1. NOTE: Use new screws when installing the rear door latch.
   To install, reverse the removal procedure.
   • Use Heavy Duty Riveter to install the new rivet.

1. Remove the rear view mirror mounting hole cover (17K709).

1. If equipped, remove the window regulator handle (23342); refer to Section 501-11 .

1. If equipped, disconnect the power windows, power door lock switch and power mirror connectors.

1. CAUTION: Prior to removing the rivet center pins, place suitable support between the door outer panel and the glass to stabilize the glass.
   NOTE: Lower the window to access the rivets.
   Remove the two rivets retaining the rear door window glass to the rear door window glass run and bracket.

1. Remove the rear door window glass.

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

1. Remove the rear door trim panel screws.

1. NOTE: The rear door trim panel has eight two-part pin-type retainers. The male part of the retainer will remain with the trim panel and the female part will remain with the door.
   NOTE: To release the door trim panel pin-type retainers, first pull outward on the bottom of the door trim panel.
   Remove the rear door trim panel.
   • Disconnect the window regulator control switch electrical connector.

1. Remove the inside door handle bezel from the trim panel.

1. Remove the upper trim panel screw at the window switch opening.

1. Remove the lower trim panel screws.

1. CAUTION: To avoid damage to the door trim panel, do not pull directly outward for this step.
   Lift the door trim panel by pulling directly upward on the armrest to disengage the panel clips.

1. Disconnect the power mirror electrical connector.
