Its a good pain in the ****. Its located right behind the power steering pump which you have to move to get it out.

Heater fan stopped working after hearing clicking noise under dash

Need to change fan motor, it may have been blocked by something, but the motor has burnt out. This is a difficult job, and the wiring near the fan may also be burnt, more difficult. I would sell the car.

My heater fan stops working sometimes so i have to open the hood and bang on the cover where the fan is located what could be wrong and if its a bad fan is it hard to replace

It's easy to replace, just a few 7mm screws holding the blower motor fan in. I would check the electrical connector that plugs into the fan motor first. make sure it's making a good connection and not burned. Hope this helps :)

The low/med/high fan switch on my 1985 Toyota pickup is no longer working, How do I replace the heater fan blower switch?

Hi,
Don't go there just yet ! Most heater motor speed problems relate to the heater resistor ! It's located in the ducting close to the motor assy and usually has 4/5 wires on to it and a 2 screw fixing. This componant must be cooled (hence air duct location) and is solely responsible for motor speeds ! You can check motor fan by test lamp/meter ! Good Luck

Heater motor only wokks on high

probley the restor that gives the a/c heater fan motor its power for the low/ medeam speds has gone bad and onley letes it run on high speed because it gives the fan motor full battery voltage on high speed. it should be located in the heater box were the fan will blow air across it to cool it when it is in use GEORGE STIRBER DBA AUTO ENGINEERING

Lowes 3 fan speeds don't work

You need to replace the fan spped chip located under the hood....If you look under the hood at the blower motor, you will see the power plug for it. Follow the wires down to the chip board they run into That is your problem area.....power chanels 1,2, & 3 are burned out pull the 2 bolts and remove the board, replace with a new one...You can buy used if you like but odds are they'll have an issue with them too. Real easy fix.

My 2007 Nissan Quest's front heater fan no longer works. I checked the fuses (in the main engine compartment) and they are fine. Where is the fan anyway? Is it located deep under the dash..can a common guy...

2000 or 2007?

It might be just the blower resister located on the heater box. 2 screws and about 4 wires, easy change.
Here's the blower in the heater box:
