Probably a stuck thermostat - it happens on these cars. If you have a 1.8T engine, it's a pretty easy fix. If you have a 2.8 V6, you might as well do the timing belt service, since the whole belt and tensioner have to come off to access the thermostat - major teardown involved.

My Audi a4 TDI 02 is overheating I open the water bottle and the water shoot back up from the radiator back into the water bottle

If it did it when you first started the car(cold) , Head gasket is bad. Otherwise , shooting out would normal if the car was hot. If it overheats at idle, look to the thermostat. If it only overheats when driving, look to the water pump.

Just had Halfords fit new cam belt on Audi A4, now it is overheating and they say my water pump has packed up! Is it ok to still drive the car until the problem is sorted as they told me it would be ok but...

I would never drive a car if it was overheating, not worth the cost of a new engine-at the very least, they should put that in writing so that if it does damage the engine, they buy the new engine.

The car overheated about 2 weeks ago. had no idea why. fluid was full, so we just took out the thermostat temporarily since it is summertime. has been fine since then till tonite when it all of a sudden...

Did you check the fan for normal operation? Does the fan come on if you turn the AC on(Should turn on regardless of engine temp with AC on, otherwise it will turn on and off as needed). Did you check if the radiator was still full any tyme between the previous repair and the overheat? Water pumps on older chrysler and mits products do occaisionally lose impellers.

Heater does not produce hot air even on high only warm air

My 2002 Audi A4 doesn't produce the hot air, It's an Auto computer control temperature system. I took my car to the local mechanic (gas station), he said that the water pump and the timing belt need to be replaced.

The heating system normally produces by the engine, then normally the "thermostat' is causing the issue, but the temperature gauge doesn't indicate the overheat.

Any idea what's cause this problem?

I'd need as much information about anything related to your driving observations to being to try and diagnose the driveability problems, but the sunroof is an easy fix, as this is a known issue on the A4. Here's a step-by-step procedure with pictures that will show you how to fix it easily:

Let me know if that doesn't work (I bet it will though).
