Question about 1989 Ford Probe
Drives great for just a short time and then loses power, dies then doesnt start til it cools.
This is a tricky one. I would check the oil level and then the anti freeze. it sounds like the engine is over heating and the wrong oil will do that. but is can also be the anti freeze because their are little flow ports through out the engine and it can be that the ports in the engine are clogged with grim. if the ports are clogged then thiers no way for the engine to cool. and i do beleive that thier is a sensor in the engine that cuts the engine off when its is not recieving any anti freeze.
